Confession: I've never had poke before. I love sashimi though, so I've been wanting to try out this similar dish. We recently moved the OTR, and this place is right down the street. We tried it out on a Saturday afternoon.
I ordered the regular sized bowl, which was plenty of food for me. I got brown rice with one scoop each of naked tuna and salmon, as well as the miso crab. For toppings I had edamame, seaweed salad, marinated tofu, and red onion, all topped with shoyu sesame sauce. Everything was excellent and really fresh. The surprise for me was the marinated tofu and veggies, which was really excellent! I think we will be coming here often. -

I'm not sure what all these good reviews are. I guess no one here has ever had actual poke from Hawaii or a big city like New York. The amount of fish they put in the bowl is laughable. A could count on one hand the tiny amount of protein. It's called a poke bowl... not a random bowl of rice and toppings. Also the fried onion is usually somewhat crunchy, not stale. The other toppings seemed ok. If they add a reasonable amount of poke into the bowl then it would be a big time improvement.
The milk tea was good, but I think it's pretty hard to screw up original milk tea.
I'd skip this place if you want a bowl of poke that isn't trying to hide the 4 pieces of salmon under all the cheaper toppings. -

Most poke places are very similar, but there are several things that make this one stand out.
Extensive ingredient options
White or brown rice, mixed greens, zucchini noodle base
Excellent apps and options outside the bowl
A "burrito" option with nori
Build your own bowl option on doordash
The burrito version was neat and comes wrapped in nori which is pretty awesome. It gets 2 scoops of protein and plenty of other toppings. The balance is good and it's mostly handheld. Would order again.
The Taiwanese popcorn chicken is fantastic, light tempura breading around teriyaki flavored chicken and a tangy sauce. It doesn't look like much in the picture, but it's definitely worth ordering.
The cheese wontons are basically crab ragoons. They are above average and if you like ragoons you won't be disappointed. They are light and crispy with lots of cream cheese filling lightly flavored.
They also have milk tea and pork buns that look tasty. -

Came here for lunch on a Friday, and I was stoked to find a tasty healthy lunch option! I got a large bowl and created my own. I got 3 proteins (spicy tuna, shrimp, and tofu), a free scoop of miso crab, one of the soy marinated eggs, edamame, cucumber, and seaweed salad, all over a bed of zoodles. It was a ton of food, and all under $15! Everything tasted really fresh! I loved my lunch, and I'd definitely come back.

I have been here multiple times and I love it! It's nice to finally have a place that serves poke here in Cincinnati.
I get the Honolulu Bowl each time and it is so delicious. There are two sizes to choose from - I choose the smaller portion and I feel that it is a fair portion and even a lot. The last time I went I ordered the cheese ragoons and they were great as well.
I like Poke Hut because they have a lot of options and accommodate for all tastes and dietary restrictions. They have raw options for those who want a more traditional poke bowl, cooked options, and even vegetarian/vegan options. There are a multitude of toppings and sauces to choose from so you can always change it up. You can create your own bowl or choose one of the ones they suggest on their menu.
They have sides you can order as well. Since the bowl is usually enough food for me, I usually don't order any but again, I tried the cheese ragoons last time and loved them.
They also have boba tea which is not as popular in the Midwest as it is on the west coast but a very welcomed surprise to find here! It seems that they have a good variety of options.
The restaurant is cute and has lots of seating options. Very clean as well.
Additionally, everyone who works here is very polite and nice. If you are not sure what to order, they will make suggestions and accommodate you.
I would highly recommend this place - especially if you've never had poke before and want to try it.
